With the amount of coaches we have within the club we need to sort something out. It always seems to fall on the same people all the time and I think its time for a change. If coaches don’t come forward and help then we won’t have any training sessions.

I don’t mean to be hard but as a club we must start to work together.

St Vincent College Astro Turf, Mill Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 4QA

The day will be split into the following sessions:

  • Juniors 9am till 11am – £3.00
  • Mums / dads and beginner session 9am till 11am – £3.00
  • Adults 11.30am till 3pm – £6.00

Any membership fees paid on the day or before September FOC.

No experience necessary as full training given! All levels of skill and ages welcome.

The Mens 2nd won, although that was because the game was cancelled late on Thursday evening. The Mens 1st drew 0 – 0 away at Winchester 3′s, their first clean sheet of the season (always good). But the Mens 1898′s lost 1 – 4 at home to Swanage and Wareham.

The Mens 1st beat Weymouth 1st 3 – 2 away, while the Mens 2nd beat Weymouth 2nd 6 – 5 at home. The Mens 1898 however lost 6 – 1 at home to Southahmpton 4th. Meanwhile the Ladies 1st visit to Waterside 1st resulted in a 6 – 0 loss.

But distaster struck when Winchester managed to break through the Gosport defence and win a penalty corner which they managed to convert in to a goal.

Things got gradually worse as Gosport heads dropped and tempers began to boil over and Winchester siezed the oppertunity to win the game 5-1.
