Active sports/Hants youth games trials
• This event is run in conjunction with the local council and is to raise a team to represent Gosport at the Hampshire Youth games in late June.
• The trials held recently were an excellent event. Some 60 or so junior players from 3 schools plus a team from the club attended. From this about 20 players were selected and asked to attend evening training sessions, culminating in a final trials evening on the 22nd June when the team for the games would be selected. Also we may pick up a number of players as club members.
• Nigel requested a vote of thanks for Tracy who organised the trials event.
• A request from Tracy for any old sticks to be passed to her for use in junior training sessions.

• Other posts required are Mixed Team captain, Kit manager.

• The weekend was well organized - vote of thanks for Adam Cooke.
Fixtures
• Only Fixtures available were for the Ladies and Mens 1st XI.
• A question was raised about friendlies - these cannot be arranged for the start of the season until all league fixtures were known. Although any request for friendlies during the summer to be dealt with by the skipper concerned.
ULO Report
• Nothing to report.
Coaching next season
• Tracy and Nigel had been actively hassling Ben (Hants and IOW sports partnership) to try and get a coaching course arranged as soon as possible, with no luck as yet.
• A suggestion shad been made that if we could find some one who could give a course an assessment session could be arranged. It was suggested that maybe we could contact Alan Walker to see if he would be interested in helping us out this way or if he had another contact who could do so. Alan H to contact Alan Walker.
A.O.B.
• An open day event was discussed and it was agreed to hold this on 2nd September. Mike requested that other people take on the role of organising the day. Volunteers please.
