Correspondence
• Gaynor has informed that Alan Walker is being put forward for a Queens Honour. Nigel needs to extract information from the clubs previous 5-year plan and pass onto Gaynor.
• E mail received regarding a fund raiser called Sports League. Involves a visit to the Greyhound Racing. Some money would go back to club
• Middlesex Hockey setting up an online fantasy league fund raiser
• From advertising via Mike Higgins we have received a cheque for £51
• Tracey has received e mail regarding Job on offer at HHA for Ben Thompson’s job
• Gaynor’s link with touring American team - Any under 19 ladies to contact her if interested.
• Salisbury Hockey Festival - Mixed festival over the August bank holiday - Ady setting up a team
Treasurer’s Report
• Shares - £2871.50

• Account - £13,642
• The shares have produced a yield of £91 in the last 6 month period
• April Astro paid. Money from training will go into funds.
• Junior presentation evening raised £286.30
Ladies Manager
• Ady went to ladies AGM. Change in admin process. Teams to submit team weekly, scores direct to web site by 9pm Saturday evening
• Ladies were safe in league by 1 position
• Need to get Hants to watch umpires in club to help reach level 1
Juniors
• Skill day for juniors - 14th July. 6 basic skills to learn, gain points for each skill learnt. Help is needed. Juniors to run, though 6 adults needed to assess. Children will get certificate and medal.
Open day
• First weekend in September (1.9.07) need details from mike on last years open day. 2/3 to help organise plus coaches.
• Juniors in morning till 12.00. Adults in afternoon
Islanders
• 6 to pay - money to go to Terry
• Meet 8:15 ferry on the Saturday.
Fixtures
• No u18 league. There is about 7/8 that need to play somewhere. Possibility to set up 4th team next year starting with friendlies
• No fixtures for teams yet. Nigel to check regularly for details.
• Friendlies - Trying to contact Fareham
• Alan to contact Wimborne for 1898s
Training
• Struggling with coaches. Need to get more people interested in coaching.
• Training starts first Thursday of August. St V closed either side of August bank holiday
AOB
• Ladies fines from last year - need to get registration sorted and pass fine details on as soon as possible - Ady to monitor
• Mixed hockey - Vosper want a game - Ady to make contact
• Club first - Code of conduct for players. For new member’s code of conduct on membership form - Tracy to see about attachment to membership forms.
• Ady wanting list of Female club members - Terry to find list and e mail Ady
• Mixed games are set up Home games 2/9 June
• Website needs up dating to include Training dates, open days, skills day - Nigel to contact Ian/Mark
• Nigel on church council - will keep ear out for any possible club house sites. Need to consider pitch - possibly only 5 years left. Consider other pitches in area with future developments happening in Gosport and Fareham boroughs.
