Team Reports
- Men’s 1st XI: Have lost all games so far this season.Yately 9 – 0 Gosport. Gosport 0 – 6 Wimborne. Aldershot and Farnham 3 – 1 Gosport.
- Men’s 2nds XI: Seconds have had a better start to their season. Gosport 4 – 0 Bournemouth. Wimbourne 1 – 5 Gosport. Gosport 5 – 1 Fleet.
- Ladies: The ladies have had a mixed start to their season. Gosport 0 – 4 Havant Haymakers. New Milton 1 – 2 Gosport. P&S 1 – 0 Gosport.
- 1898: Have also lost their games so far this season. Salisbury 5 – 1 Gosport. Gosport 0 – 3 Southampton. Lavant 3 – 1 Gosport.
- Juniors: U16s Isle of Wight game has been postponed. The Gosport boys played the Gosport Girls – an enjoyable match – Girls wanting a re run. Friendly with Trojans 2 with Gosport being 2 – 1 winners. The girls played Winchester drawing 1 – 1. Minis drew with Havant. There is a possibility that in the future there may be enough for an u8s team.
ULO Report
- Foundation umpire course is hoping to be run soon by Nigel. This is open to anyone to introduce you to umpiring and in preparation for the LOR1 course. This will take part on Thursday night covering 3 hours. Nigel looking at costs
Pitch
- HHA have received 2 complaints into the state of the pitch with the dip. Nigel is discussing the ways forward to fix the pitch with St Vincent. While this is being fixed we will need another venue for home games. A letter is being drafted to the commodore of HMS Sultan to use their Astro. This will include £100 for license from Navy
XMAS event
- 20th Dec at the Parish centre. Food will be catered for by Ronni Higgins. Bring your own drinks. £15 for adults and £12 for juniors. Captains have tickets.
