Wintech
• Made to order hockey kit. £30 includes tracksuit top, tracksuit bottoms, shirt, shorts and socks. There would be a minimum order of £30. Takes 4 – 6 weeks to supply. Costs includes number and embroidered logo. Decision made to stick with existing supplier this season although could be considered for events like festivals.

Correspondence
• Tracy and Nigel attending meeting through Gosport Borough Council and sports partnership, discussing matters on first aid, child protection etc.
• Terry to update details with Hampshire hockey association.

• List of players from each team captain to go to Terry.

Fixtures
• Men’s 1st won 5 – 2 against Tadley at home. Lost 5 – 1 against Eastleigh
• Men’s 2nd won 6 – 0 against Eastleigh. Played Gosport’s 1st and lost 7 – 2. Lost against Portsmouth & Southsea 1 – 0 (only had 9 players)
• 1898′s won 2 – 0 against Portsmouth & Southsea. Lost 3 – 0 against Lavant. Won 5 – 3 against another Portsmouth & Southsea team.
• Ladies have played 2 friendlies, lost at home to Portsmouth & Southsea 1 – 0 and also lost against City 2′s 2 – 1 (Ladies seemed promising 1 player was injured and game abandoned with 10 minutes to go)
• Juniors under 16 boys lost 13 – 0
• Under 12 girls lost 3 – 0 at Bournemouth

ULO Report
• Steve to sort assessment for Garfield umpiring. Garfield to contact Steve.

Open Day
• A good day lots involved and a good turnout.

After Match Teas
• Teams have been using the Clarance, although food has been disappointing. Ady has enquired about getting food from Frydays. They will supply enough food for 2 teams for £20. This would be collected and eaten at St Vincent’s. If teams use this option, players would be charged £7 for home match fees.
• Paper plates, refreshments to be priced up.

Coaching
• Tommy’s dad a possibility to coach on a Thursday. Club to possibly pay for coaches once a month with coaches given plans for the other weeks. Need level 1 coaches, course in February 08.

Christmas social
• Mens 2nd‘s organise this year, will be happy for others to help. Enquiring into use of Gosport Ruby Club, to include food, disco and other entertainments. Will see Mark / Mike about casino. Also raffle donations.

AOB
• Possible use of website, called NE14 which would show Gosport’s website to other hockey clubs using this website.
• Tracy – looking into funding to raise money for a ball machine. Gosport Borough have asked the club to create a wish list, possibility of dug outs / club house.
• No information on what is happening to military sites in regards to sports facilities.
• Membership numbers to be checked in regards to kits.
• Teams to replenish first aid kits through ASDA etc although ice packs can be brought in bulk see Tracy. If any accidents happen at the pitch report forms need to be filled out and copies given to Tracy.
• Shirt orders to be in as soon as possible, payments to captains who will pass to Mark Short.
• Adults need to put goals away after matches etc. Collect key in glass house.
• 7th October mini fest.
• Tracy – visiting 11 schools coaching 22 hours of hockey, leading to a final on 6th November.
• Club 1st’s junior plan created for the next 4 years. When club 1st’s do visit the club, they may ask any questions with plan / coaching. All to know.
