May 6, 2008 – 9:41 amThere is a first aid course being held at Henry Cort School on Saturday 31st May 9am - 3pm. Can anyone who wants to attend please let me know ASAP as there are a limited number of places available. Each team is required to have at least one first aid trained person.
Those of you who already have a first aid certificate can you please get a copy to either Tracy or Paul.
Terry will the club pay for those who are successful in getting on the course?

Presentation Evening

Now confirmed!
This is now confirmed for the 10th May at the Masonic Halls in Gosport. This year the presentation night will included juniors and seniors. Juniors start at 5:30 – 7:30, Seniors 7 for 7:30 start till 11. It would be good if many of the seniors could come and support the younger members of the club at their presentation evening.
The cost for the evening are:
- £3 non member Adults.
- £1 Non member juniors.
- £1 for members.
- Junior members are free but if they stay for the Adult evening, will need to pay the £1.

April 12, 2008 – 10:26 amThe Mens 1st XI have finished 2nd in their league and only missed top spot by the goal difference of 1. They will be promoted.
The Ladies 1st XI have finished their season in 7th place in their league.
The Mens 2nd XI ended their season 6th in their league.
The Mens 1898 finished 11th in their league, second from bottom and it looks like they will be relegated.

Thursday Training
April 4, 2008 – 8:40 amAs of the Thursday just gone, the Thursday night Training Session will be a pay to play night, this will continue over the summer period (keep an eye here for when training for real will start again).
It will cost £2 for the two hour session, everyone who turns up will be split into teams (how many teams will depend on how many people turn up), and games will be played.
All are welcome for what should be an enjoyable night!

We have set-up the mailing list to help communication within the club.

Weekend Round-up
March 17, 2008 – 9:53 amIn general the weekend was quite successful, the Mens 1st XI won (evein if they did make a meal of it, but lost out on winning the league by one goal), the Ladies 1st XI won against Havant Heymakers in a friendly. The Mens 2nd XI drew against Wimbourne Wayfarers 2’s. And the Mens 1898 lost against Bournemouth 4’s.
